Trust Driver Training is on hand to guide you from your first lesson to passing your test. All of our instructors will give you professional and structured training to ensure you are fully prepared for both your theory and practical driving tests.
Remember you will need to pass your theory test before you can apply for the practical driving test; the test is in 2 parts, a series of multiple choice questions and a hazard perception test. Both of these must be passed at the same time, if you fail one you will have to retake both parts. Your instructor will advise you on the best ways to book your theory and practical driving tests.
After you have successfully passed your test Trust Driver Training can also provide Pass Plus training
You must have a full provisional license. You can obtain an application form from your local post office or from your Trust Driver Training instructor.

You must be able to read a number plate from approximately 67ft/20.5 metres away.

You are not allowed to drive on a public road on your own until you have passed your driving test.
This is a computerised multiple choice test, the test consists of answering 50 multiple choice questions. This also includes an interactive Hazard Perception test.
PRACTICAL TEST

The practical driving test is designed to assess your ability to drive. Your instructor will advise you when you are ready to take your test. Before the test your instructor will prepare you by taking a mock test.

In order to pass the driving test you must not commit more than 15 driving faults or 1 major fault.
